How to get to A-Famosa
A-Famosa is located in a half hour drive from Kuala Lumpur international airport ( KLIA ). It will be quite easy to get here along the highway by car. There is a train going to station Tampih, which can also be reached by bus from the bus station of the same name. From Malacca airport you can get to A-Famosa by car in just forty-five minutes.

Attractions of A-Famosa

Waterpark
First place to see is the Water Park. Yes, this is a paradise for children, but rest assured, you too are going to turn into a toddler, laughing with joy on the roller coaster "Arab village" or squeal with delight, slipping from the tall water tower of seven stories high. Prefer less extreme early in the morning? Then the family rafting or leisurely rafting on the world's longest “lazy river” awaits you.

Monkey Island
From the water park ferry will take to the very center of the lake on the monkey island, where the brown Madagascar lemurs and Capuchins from South America, as well as gibbons and macaques, will remind you how quirky and fun nature can be.

Safari
Next step is deep into the jungle. Here, the houses of local residents are hidden among the ancient trees of tropical forest: these tribes refused pointblank to accept civilization, but they welcome guests to their simple houses.

And when the night finally thickens its paints, the darkness will be diluted by the spectacular Carnival!

Fire eaters, spewing flammable fountains from their mouths, trainers of wild animals and their growling pets, equilibrists, birds, graceful dancers in traditional costumes, painted local tribes with spears in their hands – all of them convolve in a single dance, which will be invariably completed with a resounding salute! One day in A-Famosa is a holiday lasting twenty-four hours.

Microlight
And when on the next day the same lively birds chatter will wake you up, you still have plenty of time to test yourself in a flight on one of the lightest aircrafts in the world. Compact and weightless, it will take you into the sky like the wings, and the experienced instructor seated next to you will take care of your security.

Golf
Those who prefer land to heaven will spend the day at the golf club. But be careful: one of the tracks is inhabited by crocodiles! So try to save their nerves – be well-aimed:)

Restaurants in A Famosa
In A Famosa it is simply impossible to stay hungry. Moreover, choosing a restaurant to one’s own taste will be an exciting experience, because such a variety of various cuisines and exotic dishes, perhaps, will make a separate restaurant tour.

Golfer's Terrace
Excellent combination of flavors of local and international cuisines, buffet meals or “a la carte"- your taste in any case will be satisfied in the atmosphere of this quiet restaurant in the green golf courses of A Famosa. Breakfast is served from 7:30, the last order for dinner is taken up to 21:30.

d'Garden Restaurant
This restaurant is located in a luxury villa right beside the pool. In addition to Malaysian cuisine Italian cuisine is also served here. It is an excellent place to dine out under the holiday fireworks dissecting the sky. The restaurant is open from 6 to 11 pm and closed on Mondays.

Huang Di Chinese Restaurant
It has long, almost endless list of Chinese dishes. The restaurant is open from 7 am until 10 pm.

The Ranch Steak House
The taste of real American steak can be tried here. There is nice interior design: tables, chairs, stairs to the second floor - all made of wood. Working Hours: from 5 pm till 1 am.

Lake View Restaurant
Great place to rest and have lunch after the morning safari. Pay a visit to this restaurant and learn a varied menu of Western and Oriental cuisine. The restaurant can boast of superb views of the lake. Working hours: 12:30 to 15:00.

Side Walk Cafe
This cafe will help you to relief the feeling of hunger during your visit to Water Park. Here in the greenery to the sound of water you can safely have a meal from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Bamboo Steak House
This excellent, quiet place with a pond is ideal to take a rest during the daytime safari. The menu offers western cuisine. Hours: from 9 am to 4 pm.
