Marina Bay Sands is considered to be one of the world’s most luxurious hotels. In possession of numerous awards, Marina Bay Sands takes place as one of the toughest and most expensive projects in the aspect of construction! (total cost of S$8 billion). Being Singapore’s landmark and main tourist attraction, Marina Bay Sands offers a luxurious accommodation and high-class entertainment.

The construction and architecture of the prominent features of this resort was approved by Feng-Shui experts Chong Swan Lek and Louisa Ong-Lee.

The resort complex consists of a hotel with a total of 2,561 rooms, located in three 55-storey towers. The top of the three towers is connected by a large roof terrace, known as SkyPark.

SkyPark is 340-metres long with a capacity to hold up to 4,000 people, and opens up a breathtaking view of Singapore.

The world’s longest elevated swimming pool (150 meters), is located on SkyPark, and may be accessed only by the guests of the Marina Bay Sands hotel.

An award-winning lounge-bar and restaurant CÉ LA VI is located at the SkyPark Observation Deck of Marina Bay Sands, and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the city skyline. Fusing an elegant atmosphere, modern interior, excellent cocktails and exquisite Asian cuisine, CÉ LA VI has long been a prime spot of night-life entertainment.

In similar fashion to CÉ LA VI, the Sky on 57 restaurant is located on the SkyPark deck and offers its visitors a wonderful view and a romantic atmosphere. Sky on 57 is an ideal place to enjoy a large variety of wine, champagne and delightful bites.

The highlight of the whole resort that attracts a large number of tourists every year is none other than the Marina Bay Sands Casino, which is considered to be one of the most expensive casinos in the world! Upon entry to the casino, citizens of Singapore are required to pay a fee of S$100, whereas tourists may enter the casino for free. The casino encompasses more than 15,000 square meters, and consists of over 600 table games, more than 1,500 slots, 30 private rooms, and an impressive variety of dining options.

Marina Bay Sands is also known for its exclusive shopping mall The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, which will amaze its visitors with a wide range of restaurants and designer boutiques. The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is also known for its impressive architecture - giant glass windows, vast open atriums and a central water feature add a unique touch to the shopping complex.

Apart from its shopping mall, Marina Bay Sands can proudly boast about its unique and sophisticated LOUIS VUITTON boutique, built on a waterfront in the form of a large Crystal Pavilion.

The ArtScience Museum, built by the gulf of Marina Bay, fuses art and science, and frequently holds world-class art exhibitions and laser shows. The eye-catching structure of this museum resembles a Lotus Flower, and is also known as “The Welcoming Hand of Singapore”.

Feng-Shui plays a large role in the structure of this extraordinary resort. Feng-Shui masters claim that the location of Marina Bay Sands generates income and prosperity into Singapore. We will discuss this topic in more detail in the upcoming article.
